Farhad Ghodsi LMFT
As a Iranian American therapist, I am passionate about serving and advocating on behalf of the Community. I am sensitive to the complex dynamic of individuals with multi-cultural identities and those who may be dealing with cross-cultural issues and immigrants who may often times feel misunderstood.
My Approach
As a licensed therapist, I will utilize cutting edge evidence-based tools to help you cope with roadblocks. However, tools and techniques can only go so far because every person is unique. My orientation to therapy and treatment can best be described as integrative, meaning that I employ aspects of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy and Psychodynamic approach with emphasis on Attachment Theory to assist in developing a treatment plan tailored to individual clients’ needs and preferences.

Trauma (including immigration, incarceration, emotional abuse, physical/verbal/sexual abuse)
